We schedule a thorough screening where we take the time to get to know you, your lifestyle, and your home environment. During this conversation, we discuss:

Make sure you are fully prepared for the significant, long-term commitment that comes with caring for a parrot.

If the screening process goes well, we will schedule a time for you to meet and interact with the parrot you are interested in adopting. This visit allows us to observe the interaction and make sure the parrot and adopter are a good match.

If the visit goes well and we determine that the placement is the right fit, we will move forward with the adoption, and your parrot can go home.
